Paula's School of Baton will begin its 29th year in Mount Joy. Under the direction of Paula McAdoo, the school offers baton twirling at all levels, for ages 3 and older, weekly classes, competitive teams or individual lessons. Pom Pom, Tap, Hip Hop and Tumbling classes  are also offered.The school also has  competition teams, which consist of children ages 3 and older, to compete in Drum Majorettes of America's local,state, regional and national competitions. Private lessons are also available for children who wish to compete individually throughout the year.




 OUR STAFF: Paula McAdoo and staff are all certified and qualified instructors. We are excited to have Erin Schlotthauer return to teach our weekly class students in Pom Pom and Baton. Other staff members, also former students at the school,will teach classes and private lessons as well.We are excited to bring new staff instructors into the school for our Tumbling,Hip Hop and Tap classes. REGISTRATION can be done by phone, 653-8519 or by filling out the CONTACT US page, here on the web. The school's programs , consist of 45 minute classes each week, at a monthly rate of $32.00. Multiple classes and siblings, will be eligible for a discount monthly rate. Paula's School of Baton has won many awards throughout the past 28years. The school participates in several parades, holiday mini shows, spring shows and look forward to our year end recital in May, "Spring Showcase 2014". The school has participated in many public appearances and competitions. The school will participate once again in the St. Patricks Day Parade in March in Ocean City Maryland. The school is also excited to participate in some new  non -competitive venues this year.

 Drum Majorettes of America hosted its National Finals at the University of West Georgia in July, PSB entered Jr Twirl Team,Sr Twirl Team and Tot Strut team all won first place national honors, in addition to the national wins, the Tot Strut Team won the overall 2013 Most Outstanding Strut Team award . The school has had many individual national level winners as well. This year, the school was proud to take 25 individual competitors to the national competition on all levels. Paula's School of Baton earned 2 winners on the Beginner and Intermediate levels, and five on the Advanced and Elite levels of twirling.
Morgan McAdoo,a Millersville University student won the highest honor:Majorette Queen of America 2014.In addition to scholarship awards,she will be respresenting PSB and Drum Majorettes of America throughout the year with public performances,hosting competitions,teaching at clinics and camps and visiting other states during DMA competitions.
The school was proud to have Kylie Garner win the National Collegiate award as she is currently the Feature Twirler for West Virginia University.
